Specialty risk is decided on documents
A specialty submission is a bundle of slips, proposal forms, financial statements, loss runs, SOVs and wordings. What matters most is usually buried in the gaps between them: a claim in the loss run that the proposal form omits, values that fall against last year's SOV, an acquisition the proposal never mentions.
Five steps on one engine
Every submission moves through the same five steps, whatever the line.
- Receive: triage for appetite, completeness and priority
- Read: every document read in full, not sampled
- Contradict: conflicts between documents surfaced as signals
- Validate: appetite, authority and regulatory obligations checked
- Decide: a recommendation or a referral, with the reasoning trail attached
Governed by Trust Fabric
Grounded knowledge, bounded authority, regulatory validation, confidentiality walls and a decision trail are enforced at runtime, in the path of every decision. Judgment calls go to the underwriter, not past them.
