Why we don't put juniors on client engagements

An honest note on the consulting pyramid, what it costs the client, and why we built a different shape of firm for insurance AI delivery.

    The pyramid problem

The traditional consulting pyramid sells partner judgement and delivers analyst execution. In a domain as specific as insurance - and a technology as new as agentic AI - that gap is the single biggest source of project failure. The work needs people who have seen the workflow before and people who have shipped the model before. There is no substitute and no shortcut.

    What we do instead

Every engagement is staffed with senior insurance and AI operators. AI coworkers handle the repeatable execution that juniors used to do - research, document parsing, code scaffolding, test harnessing - at higher quality and lower cost. The economics work because the AI is genuinely productive, not because we are billing for time we are not delivering.

    What the client gets

Faster decisions, fewer surprises, capability transfer that actually transfers. And a team that has seen what production looks like in your industry - not a team learning your industry on your engagement.
